On Display: Curator’s Tour
Welcome to attend an event featuring Ynda Eldborgar and Viktoría Guðnadóttir, curators of the current exhibition On Display: Queer Above Others, where visitors will be guided through the exhibition.

In the autumn of 2021, Ynda and Viktoría went through the collection of The Living Art Museum, and selected works that can be seen or interpreted as queer. The artists were then invited to create new works that correspond to a number of the works that Ynda and Viktoría had pre-selected, thus promoting and starting a visual dialogue with the queerness of works from the museum's collection. The artists were free to select any work and create new work without any restrictions on their work or medium. The new works and the works from the collection are exhibited side by side.
