The Living Art Musum is participating in Reykjavik Art Book Fair, opening in Ásmundarsalur today, November 12th 2021.
Reykjavík Art Book Fair is based on the popular international format of the art book fair. The fairs, which are held around the world, combine artists and designers who use the medium of the book as an art form, small art book publishers, galleries and museums that publish printed material. The starting point of the fair is to look at book design, publishing and printing as an art form that is constantly evolving. The print has often been called the most democratic art medium as it is accessible to anyone, anyone can self-publish and control the distribution of the material.
On The Living Art Museum's table you can find the museum's own publications as well as artists' books and independent publications from the museum's bookstore. The mass is open today between 6—9 pm and from 11 am to 5 pm in the weekend.
