The Living Art Museum took part in the Contemporary Cultural Conversations conference with an ambitious program dedicated to socially engaged art. The artists Wiola Ujazdowska and Pola Sutryk, together with the anthropologist Anna Wojtynska left their mark on the day with sincere and powerful performances and lectures that together created a whole — a common experience commenting on topics such as belonging, understanding, mutual respect, marginalization and the experience of excluded groups. In addition, Sunna Ástþórsdóttir, museum director, gave the audience insight into the activities of the Living Art Museum, and María Gylfadóttir, owner and manager of North Consulting, gave a talk on cultural entrepreneurship. Here you can see moments from the day, which took place last November 11, in the SOHO project space in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event was organized by the executive team of Ritual Gatherings, an interdisciplinary arts festival that takes place every summer in Varna, Bulgaria.
