Junk Journal Workshop

Are you a local or a tourist that's interested in art and craft and who wants  to document your memories and express your ideas in an unique way? The Living Art Museum welcomes you to join our Junk Journal and collage open workshop on 14th of April at 17:00pm until 20:00pm organised by Sofia Ragkavi, who is our intern from Greece! Together, we will have fun learning how to make a junk journal entry from scratch, discuss inspirations  and enjoy learning about Nýló, while listening to music!

You may be wondering what Junk Journaling is; it’s a creative way to record and collect your memories, ideas and inspirations using a collage format with found and recycled materials. There’s no specific way to make a junk journal, there are infinite possibilities!

You can find inspiration in everyday life and use things that are available to you, things you can find in your house or your close environment, which you would otherwise throw out. For an example, flyers, paperbags, newspapers, magazines and even tickets! Feel free to bring your personal notebooks and supplies (ex. scissors, stickers, glue stick) you want to use. The museum will also provide required materials, so this can be a learning experience along with a creative, memorable one!
