Opening: They won’t stand time

The Living Art Museum warmly welcomes you to the opening of the exhibition They won't stand time, on Thursday, August 25 from 17–20. The exhibition presents works by Graham Wiebe, Magnús Sigurðarson, Minne Kersten, Patricia Carolina and Sigrún Hlín Sigurðardóttir.

They won’t stand time is a gathering of fragments, merging expectation and dissolution with the fluidity of life and the creative force of destruction, transformation and movement.

The exhibition is a collaborative experiment, emerging out of an unexpected, open conversation that began between the artists a few months ago. This is the first time the group works and exhibits together.

The exhibition runs until August 25, and will be accompanied by events, guided tours and artist talks. Stay tuned here at www.nylo.is

The board of The Living Art Museum brought the artists together through an open call issued by the museum, Nermine El Ansari and Margrét Dúadóttir Landmark facilitated their conversation, in collaboration with Sunna Ástthórsdóttir.
