Nýló's B-day / New Years Partý 2026!

Dear friends,

The Living Art Museum celebrates it's 48th year with a B-Day and New Year Celebration, Saturday January 10th 2026! We have a packed program, live music, happenings and more. Join us in celebrating yet another year!

Doors open at 8 pm and the entrance fee is 1.500 ISK. One free drink for the lucky first and the bar will be open the whole evening with drinks at favorable prices.

The night kicks off with a Nýló Pub Quiz at 8PM sharp! Be there on time if you want to join — Grand price for the winner!

Throughout the evening, circus artists from Hringleikur will have interventions in the space. You can test your luck at the Lucky Wheel, and decorate yourself with temporary tattoos by Jasa Baka or sparkle up at the glitter booth!

The event is also a fundraiser for Nýló. The museum maintains an ambitious program of exhibitions and events, and safeguards a unique collection based on artist donations, and invaluable archives preserving history of performances and artist run initiatives in Iceland.
