Fundraising for the Living Art Museum
Art bazaar & family events
December 1–22 2019 at the Marshall House
A very warm welcome to the Living Art Musem’s Light Bazaar opening Sunday December 1 from 12-6 pm.
This December, members of the Living Art Museum join hands and throw an art bazaar at the Living Art Museum. Diverse works in various mediums by over 50 artists will be for sale, all relating to light in some abstract way: works about light, works that illuminate, light installations, neon lights, candles, photographs, inner light and the list goes on and on. The goal is to illuminate midwinter. The Light Bazaar is a unique opportunity to source christmas presents and invest in contemporary art at affordable prices.
The bazaar takes place in the exhibition space of the Living Art Museum at the Marshall House December 1-22. A variety of events for all ages will be held during the bazaar.
Bazaar opening hours:
Tue to Sun 12 – 18
Thu 12 – 21

The Living Art Museum, commonly known as Nýló, is an artist-run museum and exhibition space that aims to support, exhibit and preserve contemporary art and to act as a platform for experimentation and international dialogue on art. The Museum has been one of the main venues for contemporary art in Iceland and holds a unique, gift-based collection of works by Icelandic and International artists from the 1960s to the present.
